This past weekend was incredible!  A good client of mine and some friends of hers battled it out in the racks and reels tournament benefiting the fight against breast cancer. This tournament has being going on in fort Myers for 6 years now. Beasley broadcasting, one of our most popular local radio stations hosts this great event every year.

This year I was fortunate to fish it and take home first place! We had an epic morning of catching lady fish. I know it’s not your typical format but it’s still fishing none the less. This tournament requires every team to to fill a bucket with your 12 heaviest ladyfish of the day. The team with heaviest bucket wins. We smoked the competition with a 23.04 pound sack to take home the gold. Also weighing in the heaviest ladyfish as wells 2.35 pounds to grab the Calcutta prize as well.

I look forward to competing in the awesome event again next year!
