I must say the red fishing in Pine Island Sound is reaching it’s peak. Days are filled with big schools, multiple hookups on artificial and live baits. Team Josh does all the work took 2nd place this past weekend in the Cypress Lake Alumni Fishing Tournament weighing in 17.92 pounds. My teammates and I had a ridiculous day boating over 50 redfish between 25-33 inches. September is probably the best month to join me for a redfish roundup. Schools will be moving around by the hundreds for the rest if this month.
