I couldn’t be more pleased with how the charter fishing for snook in November was. We caught at worst one 30 plus inch fish on every charter. Our biggest topped in at a whopping 43.5 inches, which is a fish of a lifetime. The snook have begun there ascent up the Caloosahatchee River. I expect the snook fishing charters in Fort Myers to continue to be strong until we get some serious cold weather. That hasn’t happend yet. Let’s pray it stays that way.
There are still some tarpon around but it is hit and miss off the beaches of Sanibel. There are piles of bait everywhere right now! Where there is bait there is fish. We have had some killer action bites on back bay charters lately. Tons of jack crevalles, ladyfish, snappers and the occasional redfish.
