I have to say the month of March is going just splendid. The weather is warm, the water is heating up and so is the charter fishing in Fort Myers. The Caloosahatchee River is coming to life! My clients and I have boated 4 snook over 33 inches so far this week. We have got some really nice redfish under the bushes on cut bait. Jumbo jacks are always a great surprise and have been smashing our baits spaeratically throughout the day. Let me tell you the tarpon bite the other night was sick! We got 5 bites and boated one within 45 minutes of each other. I will be going this weekend on a couple of night time tarpon charters. I should have more tarpon tales and big snook reports soon.
