One of my favorite places to fish, the Caloosahatchee River is about to spring to life. Soon as all this cold leaves sunny Fort Myers and we get some steady warming patterns. The river will start producing some of those beautiful trophy snook and tarpon we all love so much. The night time tarpon bite on the Caloosahatchee should start getting good here in the next few weeks. St. Patty’s day is usually the kick off for that. Prime time snooking will be at the end of March through the summer, with April/ May being the best. Fishing is about to be on and poppin my friends. Be sure to reserve your day or night before it is to late!
